The UN has declared 2025 as the International Year of Cooperatives, with the theme "Cooperatives Build a Better World". This milestone celebrates the global impact of cooperatives and their role in addressing global challenges, such as promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Throughout the year, cooperatives and governments worldwide will be encouraged to collaborate to increase public awareness, create enabling environments, and strengthen the cooperative movement. The celebration will include global events, starting with the official launch in New Delhi in November 2024.
This initiative underscores the importance of the cooperative model as a sustainable solution for creating social impact, reducing inequalities, and building a more collaborative future.

CTVC represented CONFECOOP at the historic YECN General Assembly in Porto, where 35 young cooperators from 14 countries formalized the network's structure and celebrated the future of European cooperation.
CTVC participated in the Coop Innovation Summit in Torres Vedras. The event provided contacts and insights into the current state of the international cooperative ecosystem.
